AP Windows provides an array of double glazed window solutions, including windows, composite doors and conservatories. In a business like this, to maintain consistent revenue throughout the year, the pipeline has to be filled with a consistent stream of leads. Something that a lot of local business owners struggle with.
Our task was to develop an innovative SEO strategy which boosted AP Windows's Google visibility and ultimately increased the number of enquiries made through the site. Simply put, we had to get the phone ringing and that's exactly what we did.
Any good SEO strategy requires a strong understanding of the client's business, their main products & services, and who the target customer is. After discussing with AP Windows, we created a plan that would suit them and their unique goals. After these initial discussions, we were soon ready to get started.
The first stage of our plan was to find out which specific terms search-engine users were typing into Google when searching for Window Repair and other services they provide. Each of these terms was then weighed up in consideration of various factors, including their level of competitiveness as well as the likely intent of users who were inputting the phrase.
In collaboration with the client, we quickly agreed on a set number of main keyword terms for targeting with our advanced optimisation practices.
The next step in our process was to assess the website’s on-page properties by carrying out an exhaustive report highlighting the main areas for development.

For this client, we implemented a location based approach. This is a popular tactic we use for many of our clients. Essentially, we created a location specific page for each of the services AP Windows provided. Some of the areas we targeted include, Beckenham, Bromley, Keston and so on.
We also made edits to the design of these pages to ensure that the pages were fully optimised but still pleasing aesthetically. For instance, we added review widgets and also clickable buttons so users can download detailed brochures straight from the site.
